Street advertising is priceless!
mother.
she can be impossible to deal with. she sticks to her old school thoughts and habits. she puts up the worst argument - the emotional one - and accuses you for starting the fight. she questions you each time you walk out the door: where are you going? who are you going with? why at this hour? when are you returning?
that’s it. you can’t deal with any of it anymore.
you move away. you remember all that she did when you were sick, when you are sick. you miss having her call you a dozen times a day to ask you petty questions. you miss her checking up on you in the middle of the night. you miss her telling you that it’s going to be alright even when you know it won’t. you miss her cooking, her forced hugs, her childhood stories, her head massages, kisses, tears, and even her nagging.
you can’t go back in time. but you know you can tell her: i love you maa.
(she will know exactly what you mean)
